Getting Started

How does Story Solay work?

After subscribing, you'll fill out a detailed questionnaire about your child's interests, favorite things, and current challenges. Every month, we create a completely personalized story based on this information. Stories are delivered digitally as PDFs that you can read on any device or print at home.

What age range is appropriate for Story Solay?

Our stories are designed for children ages 4-12. We adjust the vocabulary, themes, and complexity based on your child's age and reading level, which you specify in the questionnaire.

How long does it take to receive our first story?

After completing the questionnaire, you'll receive your first personalized story within 5-7 business days. Subsequent monthly stories arrive on the same date each month.

About the Stories

How long are the stories?

Story length varies by age group: 800-1200 words for ages 4-6, 1500-2000 words for ages 7-9, and 2500-3000 words for ages 10-12. Each story is designed to be read in one sitting or split across multiple bedtime sessions.

Can I request specific themes or lessons?

Absolutely! The questionnaire includes space for specific requests. Whether your child is dealing with a new sibling, starting school, or facing friendship challenges, we can craft stories that address these situations.

How advanced is the vocabulary?

We use sophisticated, age-appropriate language that challenges readers without frustrating them. New vocabulary is introduced with context clues to aid understanding. You can specify your child's reading level in the questionnaire.

Are the stories truly personalized?

Yes! Each story is written specifically for your child, not generated from templates. Character names, settings, challenges, and themes are all customized based on your input.

Subscription & Billing

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, you'll continue to receive stories through the end of your current billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on your first story. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll either create a new story based on your feedback or provide a full refund.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes! You can pause your subscription for up to 3 months. This is perfect for vacations or busy periods. Simply contact us to arrange a pause.

Are there discounts for multiple children?

Yes! We offer family discounts: 15% off for 2 children, and 25% off for 3 or more children in the same family. Each child receives their own personalized story.

Technical & Delivery

How are stories delivered?

Stories are delivered via email as PDF files. You can read them on any device (tablet, phone, computer) or print them at home. Annual subscribers also receive print-optimized versions.

Can I update my child's preferences?

Yes! You can update the questionnaire at any time to reflect your child's changing interests and new challenges. Updates take effect with the next story.

What if I don't receive my story?

Stories are sent to the email address on your account. Check your spam folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us and we'll resend it immediately.

Can I order past stories?

Yes! All your previous stories are saved in your account dashboard. You can access and download them anytime.
